a top tier auto OEM, Marconi Pacific conducted an assessment of the
market for vehicle sharing as compared with vehicle ownership. The OEM
saw the sharing economy growing the U.S. and the rise of Uber and Lyft
and wanted to begin to design an offering for non-traditional vehicle
ownership. Marconi Pacific interviewed early adopters of new vehicle
concepts, conducted a deep dive into new multi-passenger vehicle
platforms and built a financial model illustrating the size and nature
of the opportunity.
